He was by her side every minute of the day and gave her all of his love and attention. Life had it's ups and downs but she thought she and Jon could work things out they had been so happy in the beginning...ignorance really is bliss sometimes. That bliss had lasted four years and then her marriage had started to fall apart after Ellen had died. Kaitlyn had tried to do whatever made Jon happy but nothing had worked. Jon was never happy! Then Jon decided they were going on a trip and he had a surprise for Kaitlyn...and what a surprise it was, too! Now here Kaitlyn was running again...this time for her life! How could this have happened? Why would anyone want her and Jon dead? Soon she would know a lot more, but right now her heart was thumping out the words....Run! Run! Run!

Carlena Sue Biggs lives in a small Missouri town with her husband of eighteen years. They have a blended family of four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her hobbies include: sewing, crafts, reading, painting, growing orchids, learning signing in song and people watching. She has written and published three other books available through Amazon and creatspace.com and has also co-authored one book, Lessons From The Heart, with her writer's group; Missouri Writer's Ink. The list of her books include: From Shame To Honor Volume One, From Shame To Honor Two and From Shame To Honor Volume Three, and Running For Her Life. Reading The Nancy Drew Mysteries, The Hardy Boys Mysteries, The Little House On The Prairie Series and Zane Grey Western Novels awakened the detective in her at a young age and was an inspiration for Carlena to write her own novels later in life. With direction from God Carlena hopes to encourage people to consider making changes in their own walk and turn to the One who is the constant strength and comfort to those who search for Him.
