L'enseignement du Sa Ché a été transmis de génération en génération avec la fidélité et l'assiduité propres au système d'études traditionnelles tibétaines, préservant ainsi avec exactitude, le caractère unique et original de cet enseignement qui remonte jusqu'à l'ancienne source spirituelle de la tradition Bön. Cet enseignement a été ensuite repris et promu par beaucoup de grands maîtres bouddhistes comme Gourou Rinpoché, Atisha ou Machig Labdrön. "Sa" signifie "terre" et "Ché" signifie "analyse", donc la traduction littérale serait "analyse de la terre". Cependant la terminologie exacte est: "sa chu mé rlung shing gi dpyad pa" qui signifie "analyse de la terre, de l'eau, du feu, du vent, et du bois". Dès son origine, l'art de la géobiologie tibétaine a voulu comprendre et traiter les énergies et les éléments de la nature en rapport avec l'habitat humain s'efforçant de les modeler au mieux afin de trouver le meilleur équilibre, la meilleure adéquation possible avec la vie et le monde.

Le docteur Nida Chenagtsang est né au Tibet oriental, dans la région tibéto-mongole de l'Amdo, parmi la communauté des Ngakpas, les pratiquants laïques tibétains, reconnus pour leur pratique du yoga des mantras. Il est le détenteur d'une lignée de yogis qui transmettent les mantras de soin. Ses aptitudes exceptionnelles en médecine tibétaine l'ont conduit à faire des recherches sur toutes les thérapies externes de la médecine tibétaine et en particulier le massage Ku Nye à qui il a rendu ses lettres de noblesses. Le docteur Nida forme des étudiants à la médecine traditionnelle tibétaine, au massage Ku Nye, à la mantra thérapie, au yoga auto-médicinal Nejang, à la diététique, ou encore à l'analyse des rêves et à la géomancie tibétaine, le Sa Che. Il est co-fondateur de l'institut Ngakmang pour la sauvegarde de la culture spirituelle laïque tibétaine. Il a créé la fondation Sorig Khang International, un réseau d'organismes de formation en médecine tibétaine présent sur les cinq continents.
