By enrolling and graduating your pupils, teaching classes, adding to your curriculum, and filling the great library with books, you will advance knowledge in four main disciplines: theology, law, mathematics, and astronomy. Once construction of the university is complete, the value that the empire places on each discipline will dramatically affect how you score the knowledge you have passed on.

In a dedicated solo mode, you will be competing against a distinguished scholar, a passionate, and ambitious academic controlled by an elegant automated system. They may not be as nimble as you, but they are focused and driven and will strive to produce the best possible students.

About The Author

Fernández-Grandon, Mandela: - Mandela Fernández-Grandon is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, which served as the inspiration for his first game. Since that first release in 2020, he has won awards for his games designed both for the hobby and mass market. He designs in his spare time, spending the rest of his time as an associate professor leading research on insects, pheromones, and how we can use them to improve livelihoods.

Lopiano, Fabio: - Fabio Lopiano is an award-winning Italian board game designer, with titles including Autobahn, Calimala, and Merv. After a few years in London, UK, where he was an active member of the Playtest UK community, he moved to Milan in 2019 where he now lives.

O'Toole, Ian: - Ian is an Irish graphic designer and illustrator working out of Perth in Western Australia, particularly acclaimed for his work on titles such as Lisboa and The Gallerist. Focused primarily on tabletop gaming, Ian's work combines his experience in concise visual communication with his flexible approach to illustration.
