Daher ist die sichere Lagerung von Getreide sehr wichtig, da sie sich direkt auf die Armutsbekämpfung, die Nahrungsmittel- und Einkommenssicherheit und den Wohlstand der Kleinbauern auswirkt. Daher besteht ein dringender Bedarf an der Erhaltung der Qualität von gelagertem Getreide wie Mais und dessen ordnungsgemä er Verwaltung.
