Wenn diese auch bei kontrollierter Fertigung innerhalb einer Losgrö e normaler- weise keine nennenswerten Abweichungen aufweisen, so wurde jedoch auf Grund von Vorversuchen festgestellt, da bei schneidenden Zangen gleichen Typs verschiedener Losgrö en, insbesondere verschiedener Fabrikate, erhebliche Unterschiede auftreten, die u.a. auch noch von der Zahl der Trennungen abhängen. Der Grund für derart gro e Unterschiede ist in erster Linie in der Form der Schneiden, deren Härte und Zähigkeit sowie Oberflächengestalt zu suchen. tiber zweckmä ige Schneidengestal- tung bestehen allerdings gewisse, von Firma zu Firma jedoch unterschied- liche Vorstellungen. Eine Grundvoraussetzung für die Beurteilung der genannten Qualitäts- kenngrö en (Schneidfähigkeit, Schneidhaltigkeit) ist die reproduzier- bare Messung bzw. Registrierung des zum Trennen von Drähten bestimmten Durchmessers und bestimmter technologischer Eigenschaften erforderli- chen Kraftaufwandes sowie der Verschlei erscheinungen an den Schneiden und in dem Gelenk, dem sogenannten "Gewerbe". Die in der Praxis gebräuchliche Prüfung schneidender Zangen erfolgte bisher in der Weise, da nach dem Durchdrücken der betreffenden Zange von Hand etwaige vom Drahteindruck hervorgerufene bleibende Eindrücke auf den Schneiden sowie die bleibende Deformation der ganzen Zange für die Beurteilung herangezogen wurden. Diese subjektive Prüfung hatte entscheidende Nachteile: 1. Sie lieferte keine Zahlenangaben für den Trennkraftaufwand.
