Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Zweitsprache, DaZ, Note: 1, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Förderung von Schülerinnen und Schülern mit Migrationshintergrund beim Erlernen der Zweitsprache Deutsch im schulischen Kontext. Sie beleuchtet die kognitiven Vorteile von Mehrsprachigkeit und stellt erfolgreiche bilinguale Schulmodelle vor, die nicht nur die Zweitsprache, sondern auch die Herkunftssprache fördern. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass bilinguale Unterrichtsformen positive Effekte sowohl bei Schülerinnen und Schülern der Minderheitensprache als auch der Mehrheitssprache haben. Methodisch-didaktische Aspekte aus dem bilingualen Unterricht können auf die Förderung mehrsprachiger Kinder in Regelklassen übertragen werden. Die Arbeit empfiehlt die Ausweitung von bilingualen Förderprogrammen, um individuelle Bilingualität zu entwickeln. Die Integration der verschiedenen Erstsprachen in den Unterricht kann zur Aufwertung der sprachlichen Vielfalt und der Ressourcen der Kinder beitragen, was wiederum den Bildungserfolg und die Inklusion in die Gesellschaft beeinflusst. Durch die Zuwanderung aufgrund der Arbeits- und Fluchtmigration sowie die weltweite berufliche Mobilität wächst der Gro teil der Schülerinnen und Schüler mit einer anderen Erstsprache als Deutsch auf. Es ist folglich oftmals die Regel, dass ein Kind mit seiner Mutter eine andere Sprache spricht als mit seinem Vater. Das Aufwachsen mit einer anderen Erstsprache als Deutsch wird jedoch meist als Hürde und nicht als günstige Voraussetzung für das Erlernen der deutschen Sprache angesehen.
