Holliday, Scott: - Scott Holliday is a17-year-old senior at Fenwick College Prep High School in Oak Park, Illinois, Class of 2026. He is a community-driven, scholar-athlete and budding philanthropist, using business and economic education to tackle social and community needs.Fencing is his passion, and he has been dedicated to the sport since he took it up at ten years old. He fences competitively in men's foil at the regional and national levels. He is nationally ranked and has earned honors as a 2x USA Junior Olympic qualifier, 2x USA Fencing All-American and a member of the All-Academic Team. He founded Black Boys Fence in 2023 to help democratize the sport -- to inspire and mentor young kids and other underrepresented groups to take up the sport, and to present fencing as an accessible and inclusive activity. Through BBF, I have conducted live fencing demonstrations, donated uniforms, equipment, and books, and logged nearly 200 volunteer hours, and reached hundreds of kids in the process to share the joy of fencing.
