About The Book

Scriptural Revelation interprets the picture language of the Revelation of Jesus with the tools God has given us in His Word. Mr. Wayne has taken ten years of biblical study and compiled and coordinated that information for the reader. The previous 65 books of the Bible are essential connective tissue for interpreting and understanding the book of Revelation. Doug takes you to those biblical sources and shows the plain language of scripture. Doug presents the material in a readable format with personal anecdotes which help clarify theological ideals. He takes complex issues and simplifies them through scripture reference. Scriptural Revelation begins with the confident interpretation of who the author and writer are. It continues with how the Word reveals the tools for interpretation and how we are to read Revelation. Scriptural Revelation can be used as a Bible study tool. Critical Class Thinking (CCT) questions are given throughout the book to encourage abstract thinking. Doug uses scripture to lay a foundation of sound biblical doctrine. How does the Bible define the term "Jew"? What does the Bible say a church is? What does God mean when He tells Moses His name is "I Am?" This is some of the information divulged in scripture which must be understood for the words in Revelation to make sense.
