Negli ultimi mesi c'è stata una vera e propria febbre antinazista sui giornali, alla radio e in televisione. Si direbbe che i nazisti siano tornati. Suppongo che il pubblico stia osservando questo fenomeno con crescente perplessità. Forse pensano che questa febbre sia dovuta all'avvicinarsi del quarantesimo anniversario dell'8 maggio 1945, data della resa incondizionata del Terzo Reich.

Se il grande pubblico la pensa davvero così, si sbaglia. Questa eccitazione non si placherà dopo l'8 maggio, né alla fine del 1985. Al contrario, aumenterà. Il suo vero motivo non ha nulla a che vedere con ciò che accadde quarant'anni fa. Il suo vero motivo va ricercato negli eventi più scottanti dell'attualità. Le organizzazioni ebraiche e sioniste di tutto il mondo stanno vivendo una tragedia. Un mito di cui hanno cercato di approfittare viene smascherato: il mito del cosiddetto "Olocausto degli ebrei durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale".

Gli storici revisionisti sono attualmente responsabili di mettere in discussione la storia dell'ultima guerra nel suo complesso e, in particolare, la storia dei campi di concentramento utilizzati dai tedeschi ai tempi di Hitler.

I revisionisti non hanno mai negato l'esistenza di questi campi. Tuttavia, sottolineano che i tedeschi non sono stati né i primi né gli ultimi a utilizzare tali campi. Non si tratta quindi di un crimine specifico dei nazisti.

Ammettono anche che alcuni di questi campi avevano dei forni crematori. I cadaveri venivano bruciati in questi forni. Questo non è un crimine. Ancora oggi, in molti paesi moderni, la cremazione tende a sostituire la sepoltura.

I tedeschi usavano camere a gas disinfettanti in tutti i campi di concentramento. Anche questo non era un crimine, ma una necessità igienica. Il disinfettante usato era a volte acido cianidrico. Nella sua forma commerciale era chiamato "Zyklon" o "Zyklon B".

Il vero crimine dei tedeschi, ci è stato detto instancabilmente per quarant'anni, è stato quello di aver usato enormi camere a gas appositamente progettate per uccidere le persone e, in particolare, gli ebrei. Queste camere a gas per omicidi avrebbero costituito l'arma specifica di un crimine specifico, esso stesso chiamato "genocidio", cioè lo sterminio sistematico di una razza.
