How can an evening that seems so perfect be so short lived? The car spinning out of control, the bright light of the train, the pain, the screams, the broken glass and deathly silence blackens the night of Jenny McFaye's engagement. Can She survive all this and come out with a second chance at love and life?

Janice Kaat was born in Sheboygan Wisconsin, grew up in the Packer state, moved to sunny Tucson Arizona but had to come back to the trees of Wisconsin. She now resides in Seymour Wisconsin. One of her dreams is to travel the United States and write about her travels. Janice says, "Give me my pen, a notebook, and my computer and that is all I need." Janice started her freelance writing career in 200l. She has published several articles in the Sheboygan Press, The Creativity Connection, and the Houghton Herald. In 2003 she started her own newspaper out of the basement of her home. The Pike River Community News was a 20 page newspaper that was published biweekly and covered Amberg Wisconsin and the surrounding areas. Besides working towards her Associates Degree in Web Design and Interactive Media through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online and Fox Valley Technical College, Janice enjoys volunteering at a nursing home and Firefly Acres Horse Farm, working on logic problems, and writing on various projects. She enjoys writing profiles of people and says, "Everyone has a story to tell and I like to capture the essence of their life in a simple article."
