Birgit Primig lebt mit ihrem Lhasa Apso-Rudel mitten in Österreich im Salzkammergut. Tibetische Hunde spielen seit ihrer Jugend eine wesentliche Rolle in ihrem Leben. Die Faszination für tibetische Kultur war ebenso eine logische Konsequenz wie Reisen nach Tibet. Sie ist als Trainerin in der Erwachsenenbildung tätig. Auch für Hundemenschen bietet sie Seminare und Workshops an.
