About the Author

Shobhaa De is a Indian columnist and novelist. She graduated from St. Xavier's College with a degree in psychology. After making her debut as a model, she made her debut in journalism in 1970. The author published her first book Socialite Evenings in 1989. As a columnist she explored the starry lifestyles of Bollywood celebrities. At present, she is a freelance writer and a columnist for several newspapers and magazines.
