It's Shadow Lab, Volume Two!

In Katharyn Blair's "Deadlanders," the realm between life and death is guarded by mercenaries called Deadlanders. When a new recruit realizes that something is trying to break through from "the other side"--and that the threat is connected to her dead sister--she must risk everything to get answers.

In David Moody's "The Uninvited," when a group of high school kids throws a massive party in the penthouse of an unfinished high-rise, they're in for one hell of a night (literally) when one of them smuggles in the soul of a mass murderer--which can jump from person to person.

In Gemma Amor's "The Retreat," a troubled veteran gets an office job and soon catches the eye of the CEO after stopping a gunman in the building. When she's invited to the prestigious company wilderness retreat as a reward, she discovers the company is hiding a deadly and evil secret. Is she next in line for a promotion?

Find these and more horrifying tales in the second Shadow Lab anthology from Blackstone Publishing.

Amor, Gemma: - Gemma Amor is the Bram Stoker Award-nominated author of Dear Laura, Cruel Works of Nature, Till the Score Is Paid, and White Pines. She is also a writer and executive story editor for Marvel's Loki on Disney+, as well as the writer of the upcoming TVA series from Marvel Comics. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, four children, two dogs, four cats, and a handful of daddy longlegs with whom she's reached a truce.
