Das Schlagwort "veränderte Kindheit" ist hinlänglich bekannt und umfasst sämtliche Veränderungen der Lebenswirklichkeit der Kinder. Im gesellschaftlichen Bereich wird Deutschland oft als "familienfeindlich" bezeichnet, was den Trend zur Kleinfamilie stärkt. Familiär gesehen haben sich sicherlich die grö ten Änderungen ergeben. Viele Kinder wachsen mit nur einem Elternteil auf, leiden unter Scheidungen oder der Berufstätigkeit beider Eltern. Diese Kinder lernen schon sehr früh alleine zurechtzukommen, stehen somit aber auch unter gro em Druck, verursacht durch die frühe Verantwortung. Auch die gesundheitlichen Aspekte der veränderten Umwelt haben gro e Auswirkungen. Man denke nur an die zunehmende Zahl allergiekranker Kinder, die aufgrund ihrer Krankheit in ihrer körperlichen Leistungsfähigkeit sehr eingeschränkt sind. Viele Kinder wachsen in Städten und Ballungsgebieten auf, in denen sie kaum Möglichkeiten haben, Natur zu erfahren. Im Gegenteil: sie sind verschmutzter Luft ausgesetzt, Stra enlärm und Verkehrsgefahren. Es würde den Rahmen dieser Arbeit sprengen, alle Faktoren der "veränderten Kindheit" aufzuzählen. Die wichtigsten wurden kurz angesprochen, weitere Schlagworte könnten z.B. "Gruppendruck", "Konsumgesellschaft" etc. sein. Diese Veränderungen wirken sich drastisch auf den Geist und Körper von Kindern aus. Um dem steigenden Druck, der Verantwortung, dem wachsenden Einfluss von peer-groups und der Verlockung durch Rauschgifte stark gegenüber stehen zu können, bedarf es viel Selbstbewusstseins.
