About The Author

Ellie Rose McCullagh was born with a craniofacial syndrome that has required over twenty surgeries on her face, skull, brain, and airway. She is in her last year of studies at RIT and is hoping to graduate in May 2025. Using what she has learned in the School of Individualized Study (SOIS), McCullagh is hoping to pursue social science research and somehow integrate her experiences in the medical field into her long-term goals--whatever they may be. In addition to being a student, McCullagh is also a musician, writer, artist, and coffee lover.
