SÍNDROME Dr. HOSE es un ensayo sobre un tipo de comportamiento psicópata en algunas personas. Se caracteriza por la capacidad inconsciente de la persona de evadir una dolencia emocional mediante una dolencia física. Estas personas no saben por qué se comportan así. Ello se debe a una disociación entre los hemisferios cerebrales. El hemisferio derecho realiza procesos sin pasar por la racionalidad del hemisferio izquierdo. Las personas con este síndrome, tienen gran capacidad para mentir, engañar a los demás. Siempre son evasivas ante cualquier cuestionamiento hacia ellas. Creen sentir una dolencia física, pero sólo es una sensación confusa producida por su dolencia emocional. Se vuelven adictas a los fármacos como una forma de paliar su malestar. Desarrollan gran capacidad para manipular a los demás. Son infelices, insatisfechas, solitarias y con una gran facilidad para la simulación. Quizá seas una persona con el Síndrome Dr. House y no lo sepas. Tal vez a tu alrededor hayan personas con el síndrome y no sepas reconocerlas. Aquí exploramos los síntomas de este comportamiento psicópata y los posibles factores de su génesis. Para facilitar la comprensión de este comportamiento, se toma como ejemplo el personaje central de la serie de televisión "House M.D."
