Los estudios sobre sintaxis han extendido su foco de inter�s al discurso en las �ltimas d�cadas.El presente trabajo se acerca desde la macrosintaxis a la descripci�n de elementos que aseguran la contextualizaci�n del mensaje en el marco comunicativo en el que se produce. Los operadores discursivos constituyen el paradigm del sistema que acoge la referencia a esta macroestructura. Las construcciones semilibres tambi�n desarrollan contenidos procedimentales para asegurar el anclaje en la enunciaci�n y modalidad, expresi�n directa de la subjetividad del hablante, o en las referencias a la estructuraci�n informativa y argumentativa que este realiza para orientar la interpretaci�n. Los autores se acercan desde un enfoque ling��stico-pragm�tico a la descripci�n de estas formas en espa�ol.

Catalina Fuentes Rodríguez, Catedrática de Lengua Española en la Universidad de Sevilla, es especialista en sintaxis del discurso. Ha dedicado numerosos trabajos a los marcadores del discurso (conectores y operadores), a la estructura del enunciado o la periferia oracional.Su labor investigadora se extiende a la Pragmática y al Análisis del discurso.

Ester Brenes Peña, Profesora Titular de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Córdoba, ha desarrollado su labor investigadora en torno al Análisis del Discurso, la Pragmática y la Macrosintaxis del español actual.

Víctor Pérez Béjar es profesor en el área de Lengua Española de la Universidad de Córdoba. Es miembro del grupo Argumentación y Persuasión en Lingüística (APL) y ha participado con el resto de miembros en varios proyectos nacionales y autonómicos centrados en la Macrosintaxis y el Análisis del Discurso. Destacan sus investigaciones sobre las estructuras suspendidas y otras construcciones del español que actúan en el nivel discursivo.
