About The Book

In this final book of the "Skipper's Stories" series, Skipper, now a senior family beagle dog, shares with us, his memories of family vacations from his puppy years to present time.

Skipper takes us from kennel to camping, to country cottage. We visit "Yourami" (Miami) with Ezra, the oldest child, with whom Skipper has identified as his almost twin brother. Skipper shows pride in Billy, the second born, as Billy comments about the modern comforts of "electrictricity" (electricity) at the country cottage. Gilly, the little sister, has a voice of her own.

Despite being a senior dog, Skipper's beagle nature leads him into embarrassing consequences. Written and illustrated by Shirley Shoub, this story may evoke memories of treasured vacation times for many families.
