This is the second book in the Sophie Series. The first book is Sophie's Special Story. Sophie Said is a continuation of the original story. This book continues to show the special bond between an owner and her dog, Sophie. This unique storyline reveals Gabriella's magical birthday and how one wish changed their relationship forever!

Gabriella was visited by a birthday fairy and was granted the enchanted power of communicating with Sophie for one day by playing a game called Sophie Said. The purpose of this book was to creatively target speech and language goals through Sophie's experiences.

Throughout the story, while Gabriella and Sophie are playing the game, Gabriella is learning the importance of following directions. Additionally, this story has verbal and visual prompts so parents can use the prompts as a strategy when working with their children on following directions. Sophie Said also has opportunities to target other language goals such as answering WH questions, labeling common objects, increasing vocabulary through descriptions, expanding syntax, describing emotions/feelings, and sequencing and story retelling.
