About The Author

Dr. Gerhard Bäcker ist Senior Professor am Institut Arbeit und Qualifikation (IAQ) der Universität Duisburg-Essen und zugleich Senior Fellow der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung. Er war vor der Pensionierung Inhaber des Lehrstuhls "Soziologie des Sozialstaats" am Institut für Soziologie der Universität Duisburg-Essen.

Dr. Gerhard Naegele war Direktor des Instituts für Gerontologie an der TU Dortmund und vor der Pensionierung Professor für Soziale Gerontologie an der TU Dortmund. Er hat Gastprofessuren zu gerontologischen und sozialpolitischen Themen in der Türkei und in Taiwan.

Dr. Reinhard Bispinck forscht zu Fragen von Arbeits- und Einkommensbedingungen, Tarifpolitik und industriellen Beziehungen. Er war Abteilungsleiter des Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftlichen Instituts in der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung und Leiter des WSI-Tarifarchivs.
