Das vorliegende Buch prasentiert die Ergebnisse eines von der DFG gefOrder- ten Forschungsprojektes "Verwendung sozialwissenschaftlichen Wissens im Lehrerhandeln". Das Projekt wurde aus dem Diskussionszusammenhang des Schwerpunktprogramms "Verwendungszusammenhange sozialwissenschaft- licher Ergebnisse" der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft entwickelt, von Bernd Dewe und Frank-Olaf Radtke beantragt und in der Zeit yom 1. 1. 1989 bis zum 30. 5. 1991 von der DFG gefordert. Mitarbeiter des Projekts waren Erich Schafer (1. 1. -31. 5. 1989), Albert Scherr (1. 1. -30. 9. 1989), Michael Bommes (1. 6. 1989-31. 5. 1991) und Thomas Kurtz (1. 3. 1990-31. 5. 1991). Beraten haben das Projekt Hans-Erich Webers (Zentrum fur Lehrerbildung) und Wilfried Ferchhoff (Fakultat fur Padagogik) der Universitat Bielefeld. Wir mochten an dieser Stelle allen danken, die am Zustandekommen des Projektes und seiner Durchfuhrung beteiligt waren: neben den Genannten, de- ren Vorarbeiten Teil des vorliegenden Buches geworden sind, in erster Linie den Praktikums-, Fach- und Seminarleitern, die bereitwillig die Materialien und Dokumente zur Verfugung stellten, ohne die die Arbeit nicht hatte begin- nen konnen; dem Zentrum fur Lehrerbildung und seinem Leiter, Volker Mohle, der die raumlichen und sachlichen Voraussetzungen geschaffen hat; Karin Daniel, die die verwaltungstechnischen BUrden des Projektes getragen hat; Roland Ratzmann, der im Verlauf des Projekts zahlreiche Texte genauso geduldig geschrieben hat wie zum SchluB Mechtild Gomolla. Lutz Galilaer (Universitat Halle) und insbesondere Vera Brocker (Universitat Osnabrock), die das Manuskript aus den zahlreichen Fallen moderner Textverarbeitungs- systeme wiederkehrend befreit hat, haben das Buch fur den Druck kompetent eingerichtet.
