Inma Pertusa Seva is Professor of Spanish at Western Kentucky University. She has published on contemporary Hispanic women writers, focusing on issues of gender and sexual representation. She is the co-editor of Tortilleras: Latina Lesbians (2003) and the anthology of short stories Un deseo propio. Cuentos de escritoras españolas (2009), and the author of La salida del armario: Lecturas desde la otra acera (2005). More recently, she edited the anthology of short stories Fundido en negro: antología de relatos del mejor calibre femenino español (2014).

Melissa A. Stewart is Professor of Spanish at Western Kentucky University. She has published Testament in Prague (an English translation of Teresa Pàmies's Testament a Praga) and numerous articles on contemporary Catalan narratives and crime fiction by women. A co-editor of, and contributor to, the volume (Re)collecting the Past: Historical Memory in Spanish Literature and Culture (2016), she has also authored an English translation of Operación Mantra by Susana Martín Gijón.
