Wir beschranken uns hier auf die nichtquantisierte Theorie und geben einen AbriB der relativistischen Elektrodynamik, Kontinuumsmechanik und (irreversiblen) Thermodynamik nebst Anwendungs- beispielen. Wegen ihrer Bedeutung behandeln wir dabei u. a. Strahlungsprobleme, DIRAcsche Bewegungs- gleichung, No ETHER-Theorem und Variationsprinzipien fiir Teilchen und Felder sowie fiir Kontinua. Vorausgesetzt werden im wesentlichen Grundkennt- nisse in Mechanik, Elektrodynamik sowie in Differential- und Integralrechnung. Das Bandchen wendet sich an Studenten, Priifungskandidaten und Wissenschaftler der Physik, Mathematik, Astronomie sowie angrenzender Wissenschaften.
