Ingenieure sollten das richtige Material und die richtige Technik f�r die Sanierung des jeweiligen Denkmals ausw�hlen. Es ist sehr wichtig, dass die Eigenschaften des alten und des neuen Materials aufeinander abgestimmt sind. In dieser Literatur werden einige spezielle Techniken zur Sanierung von Baudenkm�lern er�rtert. Es wird versucht, Techniken wie die Injektion von verschiedenen Chemikalien zu verwenden. Auch die Konservierung von Holz mit verschiedenen Chemikalien wird erprobt. Um die Korrosion der Bewehrung zu verhindern, wird auch die Verwendung spezieller Anoden erl�utert.
