Im Sinne eines schülerzentrierten Unterrichts ist es daher sinnvoll, zu untersuchen, welche literarischen Themen möglichst lebensnahe Probleme darstellen, was allerdings angesichts der Aktualität vieler expressionistischer Themen nicht schwer fallen wird. Gerade das Thema der Liebe ist ein eigentlich "zeitloses" Thema und wurde, seit es Literatur gibt, immer wieder verarbeitet; bereits das hebräische Hohelied der Liebe im Alten Testament ist ein Lobgesang auf die sinnlich-erotische Liebe, und nicht erst seit Freud wei man, dass sexuelle Wünsche und Vorstellungen Dichter und Künstler in ihrem Schaffen erheblich inspirieren können. Aufgeschlossenheit der Schüler für das Thema dürfte somit "garantiert" sein, denn die Liebe ist ein Phänomen, das über die Zeit der Pubertät hinaus jeden jungen Menschen in seinem Leben beschäftigt. Der "Kampf" der jungen expressionistischen Generation um (nicht nur sexuelle) Befreiung hat einige Ähnlichkeit mit der sexuellen Revolte der 68 er Generation, welche auch Nachgeborenen noch ein Begriff sein dürfte. Ein knappes Jahrhundert später mag es für junge Menschen zunächst schwer nachzuvollziehen sein, was es bedeutet, in einer Gesellschaft aufzuwachsen, in der bürgerliche und "katholische" Moralvorstellungen auf die Erziehung gro en Einfluss haben und Sexualität öffentlich tabuisiert ist; e
