Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Integration, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln (Humanwissenschaftliches Institut), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dem Anstieg der ausländischen Bevölkerung stellt sich gleichzeitig auch die Frage nach sozialen und bildungsorientierten Ma nahmen zur erfolgreichen Integration der zugewanderten Menschen. In der Arbeit soll dieser Frage nachgegangen werden. Der Fokus wird dabei auf Kinder mit Migrationshintergrund gelegt. Im Jahr 2018 setzte dich die Verteilung der Bevölkerung in Deutschland aus über einem Viertel an Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund zusammen, weshalb die Relevanz des Themas aufgrund der beträchtlichen Anteile sehr hoch gestuft werden kann. In den folgenden Ausführungen wird überwiegend auf sprachgestützte Integrationsma nahmen verwiesen. Der hohe Stellenwert der Sprache für die zwischenmenschliche Kommunikation soll in den Vordergrund gebracht und anhand von theoretischen Ansätzen und beispielhaften Erfahrungsberichten zu bereits bewährten Ma nahmen belegt werden. Diese Deutung erfolgt nicht tiefergehend auf linguistischer Ebene, sondern in Bezug auf soziale Strukturen und Verhältnisse, in denen Migrantenkinder aufwachsen. Dabei soll mit dieser Arbeit die Frage beantwortet werden, welche Rolle die Sprache für die Integration von Migrantenkindern in die Gesellschaft spielt. Dafür wird zuerst ein Überblick über die Migrationssituation in Deutschland präsentiert und der Migrationsbegriff definiert. Es wird zudem auf die Diskriminierung von Migrantenkindern im deutschen Schulsystem eingegangen und anschlie end auf Möglichkeiten sozialer Integration durch Sprache und Bildung verwiesen. Im nächsten Kapitel folgen Ausführungen zum Zweitspracherwerb bei Migrantenkindern, es wird auf pädagogischer und sozialer Ebene auf den Erwerb der Zweitsprache Deutsch und auf mögliche Probleme des zweisprachigen Aufwachsens eingegangen.
