Then she meets Daisy, a film star, who offers Dani a job as her personal wardrobe assistant on a film going to Paris! Dani takes the offer and runs away from everything she knows terrified that she will be discovered as a fraud and a fake and be sent back home to face her ultimate failure or she can change just enough so that she belongs in the film business and show the world what she really has locked inside of her. "Starlet" is a book about self-discovery, love, and choosing the path most people would be too afraid to consider traveling down.

April Littlejohn has been in the film business for over fifteen years as a stuntwoman, actress, and now a writer. She has gone from being a female wrestler to winning awards for her contribution to the film and television business and she will be the first one to tell you that all of that came with a price. Her experience is rich with the ups and downs of anyone braving the dream of being successful in film and television. Her characters are a blend of her imagination and the reality of the people she met along the way. April eventually found love outside of the film business and splits her time between the great mountains of Colorado and the wonderful but hard city of Los Angeles.
