RAHUL V. ALTEKAR (Ph.D. FIE) is Director—Digital Solutions at SAP India, Mumbai. He has more than 24 years of total experience of Teaching, Training & Consulting, and Industry. His professional experience includes Operations, Analytics, Business and IT Consulting, Digital Strategy, Design Thinking, Supply Chain Legal Compliance and Training. He has extensive Functional Experience in different functions of supply chain including Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Purchasing, Distribution & Logistics. He is also a visiting faculty at NITIE, GIM, Welingkars, Symbiosis, etc. Earlier, he has been Director—Strategic Services at JDA (India). Rahul has conducted more than 800 training sessions in leading industries on different topics in Supply Chain Management, ERP, Material and Operations, Mathematical Modelling, Business Analysis in Software Development, etc.

Dr. Altekar has also authored books on—Enterprisewide Resource Planning: Theory and Practice (published with PHI Learning), and Production Management.
