His manuscripts India in Travelogues and The Makers of Indian English Fiction are in the press. At present Patil is working on ‘An Encyclopaedia of Indian Writing in English and Its Cultural Heritage.’ Not only this, the manuscript of his novel Two Generations is about to come out soon.
