About The Author

Bennett, Cameron: - Cameron Bennett illustrated his first book when he was about 3. It was a book he also wrote. Now he illustrates other people's stories, like "Stover" and "Stover Goes to Camp," both by Kathy Brodsky. He has illustrated articles for magazines and newspapers, painted murals inside schools in the US. and also in England, where he now lives with his wife and their two young children. He has painted lots of portraits for law firms and universities like Boston College, and has even painted the mayor of his little English village. He loves music and dance (which is how he met Kathy Brodsky, by the way) but especially art, and he hopes you enjoy not just "Stover Goes to Camp," but all of the books he has illustrated for Kathy.

Brodsky, Kathy: - Kathy Brodsky is a psychotherapist, poet and award-winning author who lives in New Hampshire. She writes books that are timely, visually exciting, educational and fun to read! Teachers have often used her books to promote social awareness in their students. The stories and discussion questions engage and help readers see how the challenges of the characters are similar to those in their own lives. Stover goes to Camp is Kathy Brodsky's 14th book. The book joins her other picture books, which include: "My Bent Tree," (also available in a bilingual Spanish/English version), "The Inside Story," "Just Sniffing Around," "Purrsnikitty," "The Winner is...." "Stover," "A Horse Named Special," "A CatFish Tale," (also in Spanish), "High Wire Act," and "Two Arms, Two Legs, Two Feet," (board book). She also wrote "Moments in Our Lives," a book for adults, of short vignettes about life and its transitions. Kathy loves spending time with family and friends and she hates to miss her daily swim!
