Konflikte sind normaler Bestandteil sozialer Interkationen und begegnen uns daher sowohl im privaten Leben als auch in der beruflichen Arbeitswelt nahezu alltäglich. Konflikte können ebenso unterschiedliche Entstehungsgründe, Verläufe wie auch involvierte Personen haben. Wir können mit einem intrapersonalen Konflikt konfrontiert werden, wobei wir uns die Frage stellen könnten, ob das geliebte Stück Schokolade wirklich genascht werden sollte, obwohl der persönliche Fokus aktuell auf dem Abnehmen liegt. Zudem kann ein Konflikt entstehen, an dem mindestens zwei Personen, Gruppen, Organisationen oder ganze Staaten beteiligt sind und die Ursache hierfür unterschiedliche Zielvorstellungen, Werte oder auch Interessen sein können. Diese Art an Konflikten findet sich unteranderem in der Arbeitswelt häufig wieder, wodurch aus unternehmerischer Sicht Einbu en zu erwarten sind. Denn nicht nur Energie und kostbare Arbeitszeit können durch den Konflikt verstreichen, sondern auch das Verursachen zusätzlicher Kosten. Zu welch gravierenden Folgen es durch misslungenes Kommunikations- und Konfliktmanagement kommen kann, wie diese vermieden und ob Konflikte sogar positives mit sich bringen, wird im weiteren Verlauf dieser Arbeit untersucht. In der vorliegenden Hausarbeit wird zunächst in das Thema eingeführt, indem die Ausgangssituation beschrieben wird. Au erdem wird neben der Zielsetzung der Hausarbeit, auch der Aufbau geschildert.
