""Strife"" is a play written by John Galsworthy, first performed in 1909. The play is set in a fictional factory town in England, where workers are on strike for better wages and working conditions. The story follows the conflict between the workers and the factory owners, as well as the internal struggles within the workers' union. The play explores themes of power, greed, loyalty, and sacrifice, as well as the complexities of labor relations and the struggle for social justice. The characters include both workers and factory owners, as well as union officials and politicians who become involved in the dispute. As the strike drags on, tensions rise and relationships are tested, ultimately leading to a dramatic and unexpected conclusion.
