When concert guitarist Jonathan Lanbourne tours the world, he somehow becomes involved in sinister schemes that spiral out of control.

Jonathan Lanbourne worked his entire career to become a concert guitarist. His dreams finally became realized when the European Union Cultural Council contracted him to do a five-city tour of Europe. After discussing with his wife, Jonathan agreed-and in a few short months, off he flew to London for the first leg of the trip.

However, in the second city, Brussels, Jonathan began to notice odd happenings and became sucked into a world he was wholly unfamiliar with before. A mysterious person beckons him to a restaurant who turns out to be someone he didn't expect, making a proposal he didn't want to hear.

Not a few days later, in his Paris event, Jonathan is pulled into a scene seemingly plucked from an old-time gangster movie.

As his world tour continues, Jonathan must jump through hoops of romance, crime, music, culture, and more to return to a safe and comfortable life. But, based on the decisions he makes-or in some cases, was forced to make-is safe ever really an option anymore? And what will happen to the career he's worked so hard to build if his mistakes come to light?

Strings Attached is a heart-pounding action novel that includes many cultural references to famous cities in Europe and South America. The book often references each city's music, cuisine, art, and history, making each exploit of Jonathan's more interesting and engaging.

Nitkin, Andrew: - Andrew Nitkin is an entrepreneur, musician, and educator with decades of experience in the performing arts. He founded a renowned music school and performance space in NYC and later served as an executive administrator and guitar instructor at Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts, New Jersey's largest nonprofit arts organization. Now based in Scotch Plains, NJ, Andrew writes books blending entertainment with practical lifestyle insights and is currently recording a classical guitar album. His debut book, Strings Attached, launches a series of fiction and non-fiction works. Andrew aims to inspire and enrich lives with creativity and wisdom through his writing and teaching.
