Der Autor wurde auf der Insel Lindau im Bodensee geboren. Nach der Schulzeit absolvierte er erfolgreich eine zweijährige Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann. Danach folgte der fünfzehnmonatige Grundwehrdienst in Füssen und Sonthofen bei zwei Einheiten der damaligen 1. Gebirgsdivison, zu dessen Ende hin er mit der Ehrenmedaille der Bundeswehr ausgezeichnet wurde. Nach Rückkehr zur Bank absolvierte er erfolgreich ein berufsbegleitendes Studium zum Bankfachwirt und war zunächst in Lindau, Regensburg, Günzburg und München für einen renommierten europäischen Bankkonzern tätig. Seit 1994 arbeitet er für diese Bank als Firmenkundenbetreuer in Augsburg und lebt seit dieser Zeit mit Frau und Kindern in Neusäß. 1999 hat der Autor seinen ersten Spionage-Thriller "Geheimnisvolles schwarzes Gold" veröffentlicht, dem 2011 wiederum ein Spionage-Thriller, "Neujahr", folgte. 2012 erschien sein militär-historisches Buch "Der allein gelassene Kommandeur", in welchem er sich mit der persönlichen Geschichte eines im Falklandkrieg eingesetzten britischen Generals auseinandersetzt. Kurz nach der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2014 in Brasilien, erschien sein - mit einer großen Prise Humor gewürztes - mathematisch-stochastisches Fachbuch "Fußball ist Zufall!" Ende 2014 erschien der dritte Spionage-Krimi "Sturm Schatten" und 2015 der Vierte, "Beth Nahrin". 2016 folgten "40" und "GENESIS". Im Jahr 2016 Jahr erschien auch sein erstes technisches Fachbuch "Diamond T TEXACO Tanker Doodlebug". Die Bücher "Geheimnisvolles schwarzes Gold" und "Der allein gelassene Kommandeur" gibt es aufgrund derer großen Erfolge auch in Englisch-sprachigen Ausgaben als "Mysterious black Gold" und "The lonesome Commander". Alle Bücher sind auch im eBook-Format erhältlich. Soweit bekannt, war der Autor nie für einen Geheimdienst tätig.
