This book considers two kingdoms: one that has its expression in human governments, and the other, the eternal rule of God. It is my thesis that those who are subjects of God's Kingdom are not to be actively involved in the affairs of human government. To support this uncommon view, I appeal primarily to the message of Jesus as communicated through believers in various eras, primarily in the 19th and 20th centuries. The "sojourning subject" of the Kingdom, first of all, is loyal to King Jesus. For updates and supplemental material, post-publication: https: //SubjectsOfTheKingdomBlog.wordpress.com/about/
