Ish Kumar Gangania, has two dozen books in his favour, both in Hindi and English, in different genres. It includes seven poetry collections, a collection of ghazals named Gardo-Gubar, Intuition (a collection of stories), a novel Surgical Strike and two books based on the struggle of the identity of the indigenous people of India. He has also written a book Anna Andolan: Bhartiya Loktantra Ko Chunauti. The remaining books are a collection of literary criticism and essays on contemporary issues. Surgical Strike (novel), Synthetic Eggs (stories) and Bard's Beloved (poetry) are English publications. KukuFm has already aired the novel Surgical Strike and Intuition (collection of stories) in Hindi. His ninth poetry collection, Ishtihar and autobiography Main Aur Mera Girebaan, are in queue for publication. The novel Surgical Strike in Hindi and English is the latest gem to be relished. He has been the sub-editor of renowned quarterly Hindi journals Apeksha and Adhikar Darpan for over eight years and then edited Aajivak Vision, a bilingual monthly magazine. Currently, he is the editor of the SAMAY SANGYAN a quarterly Hindi journal.
