Die aktuelle Forschung sucht nach Lösungsansätzen zur Verbesserung und analysiert dabei die Möglichkeiten der strukturellen Umgestaltung, aber auch gezielter Hilfen. Immer wieder werden tiefgreifende Veränderungen, beziehungsweise eine durchgängige Umstrukturierung zu einem komplett neuen Bildungssystem, gefordert. Diese Arbeit soll die geschlechtsspezifische, soziale Ungleichheit in der Bildungsorganisation beleuchten und die damit verbundenen negativen Auswirkungen auf deren Teilnehmer herausarbeiten. Der Fokus ist auf die Organisationsstruktur des Bildungssystems mit ihrem Einfluss auf die Akteure gerichtet. Besonders strukturbedingte Gründe der Ungleichheit sollen dabei beleuchtet werden. In den ersten Kapiteln werden neuere theoretische Grundlagen zur sozialen Ungleichheit aufgezeigt. Au erdem wird die grundlegende Struktur der Bildungsorganisation Schule und die in Verbindung zur sozialen Ungleichheit bestehende Mechanismen beleuchtet. Im dritten Kapitel wird, anhand von Daten aus Bildungsberichten, herausgearbeitet, dass in den letzten Jahrzehnten das Pendel der geschlechtsspezifischen Ungleichheit in die entgegengesetzte Richtung, von den benachteiligten Mädchen zur Gruppe der Jungen, ausgeschlagen hat. Es wird belegt werden, inwieweit Jungen von Ungleichheit im Bildungssystem betroffen sind und dadurch in der Verwirklichung ihrer Lebenschancen benachteiligt werden. Au erdem soll erarbeitet werden, an welchen Stellen des Bildungssystems bzw. der Organisationen, soziale Ungleichheit hergestellt, aufrechterhalten oder verstärkt wird und an welchen Entscheidungsstellen in der Schule diese Unterschiede
