Dr. Terrence Parris is the seventh of nine children born to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Parris. Born in Trinidad, West Indies, he was the youngest student in the graduating class of the Caribbean Bible Institute in 1973. Dr. Terrence Parris is the founder and owner of El-Shaddai Counseling and Consulting Services and Training Center. Dr. Parris is a certified mentoring supervisor and has acquired more than 20 years of social work experience in supervision and training. He has conducted workshops and seminars throughout the United States, West Indies, West Africa, and South America. Dr. Parris is an Ordained Minister, Social Work Consultant, Trainer, and Mentor. He is a graduate of the American International University, the International Theological Seminary of California, New York Theological Seminary, New York University School of Social Work and the College of New Rochelle. Dr. Parris' ministerial experience is more than 30 years in which he has served as a Pastor, Teacher, and Prophet. He is also a Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor, Certified NLP Practitioner, and Certified Life Coach/Trainer. Dr. Parris is a faculty member of Touro College and Program Director of Courage to Change, Inc., and a certified Reiki Master.
