This book shows how to acquire inventive thinking skills. It contains many examples and solved problems, as well as assignments for independent work. An analysis of most of the tasks is given in the appendix. Vladimir Petrov is "TRIZ Master", Professor of G. V. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Co-founder and Co-organizer of TRIZ Developers' Summit. He's been working in TRIZ since 1972. He is a direct disciple of TRIZ author, Genrich Altshuller and often conducted TRIZ workshops jointly with him in many countries. Petrov has solved many inventive problems on TRIZ for the largest companies of the world and has authored over 70 books and 400 scientific publications.
