"Tanqīdāt-e-Fikr-e-Ghāmidī" is a collection of explanatory essays. These essays have been written to clarify the criticisms directed at the thoughts of the esteemed teacher, Javed Ahmed Ghamidi. Accordingly, they serve as responses to the objections that scholars from various schools of thought have raised from time to time. The author has carefully studied each objection, understood its reasoning, conducted a comparative analysis in light of relevant scholarly discussions, and then critically examined and responded to it with full responsibility.

In the preface, while introducing the book, the well-known scholar and researcher Dr. ʿAmmar Khan Nasir writes:

"...The essays included in this collection ostensibly revolve around a few specific discussions, such as the concept of Naẓm al-Qurʾān, the role of human nature in understanding religion and Sharīʿah, and Javed Ahmed Ghamidi's perspective on Sunnah and Ḥadīth. However, various critics have presented these questions as fundamental and principled objections to Javed Ahmed Ghamidi's thought. Therefore, these seemingly specific questions hold particular significance in this debate.

Syed Manzoor ul Hassan has been divinely gifted with an exceptional ability in writing and composition. With an extraordinary talent for analysis and explanation, when he takes up a subject for discussion, he generally leaves little room for ambiguity, obscurity, or unanswered questions for the reader.
