Un jeune homme reclus dans une maison promise � la d�molition survit dans ses r�ves. Lui apparaissent l'illustre Tarabisco, sa grand-m�re d�funte, cantatrice monstrueuse qui le hante et qu'en secret il v�n�re, son p�re, vendeur de bretelles et g�rant sournois d'une maison close, sa m�re guettant � jamais le retour de son premier amour, mort en mer.
Pour se lib�rer de ses peurs et d�crire ses fantasmes, il �crit un journal onirique dans lequel les morts et les souvenirs du pass� l'assaillent. Comment retrouver parmi eux Eulalie Belladonna, image de l'enfance et de la femme id�ale ?
