Vorliegendes Taschenbu. eh setzt die Elementar- kenntnisse del' Mineralogie voraus. Es behandelt in einer tabellarischen Uebersicht aUe genauer be- kannten Mineralien nach ihren chemischen, physi- kalischen und krystallographischen Eigenschaften. Die noeh nicht genauer bekannten Mineralien sind in das am Ende des Buches befindliche, ausftihrliche Namell- und Synonymenregister verwiesen, welches die Brauehbarkeit des Buehes wesentlieh erhiihen wil'd. Zum Ordnen del' Sammlungen ist ein systema- tisches Verzeichniss beigefUgt, welches im Grossen IV und Ganzen "Groth's Tabellarischer Uebersicht del' lVIineralien" entnommen ist.
