She learned what food can represent, experienced cultural food traditions, and saw how excited people can be about what they eat (or won't eat). As she and her friends have gotten older, how food impacts their health has become a continual topic of conversation so she began researching the health benefits associated with food. This led to discovering food origins and interesting and often humorous bits of trivia. It is a pleasure for Nancy to write about and share with others her passion for food. As delightful as food is for her, she is an advocate for feeding the poor and encourages everyone to get involved in some way with outreach programs.
