Part four of this book deals with researches in teacher education and consists of four chapters. Part five discusses reforms and innovation in teacher education, and is comprised of seven chapters. The book provides an understanding of significant issues and innovations in teacher education. It will be useful for the students of M.A. (Education), and M.Ed. It will also benefit researchers in the field of education.

Loknath Mishra is Principal, Vivek College of Education, Bijnor. He specializes in Teacher Education, Peace Education, Qualitative Research Methods, and Teaching of Mathematics. His interest in qualitative research on Adult Education for Tribals culminated in a Ph.D. thesis at the Utkal University, Odisha in 2007. Dr. Mishra has published a number of articles in local and international journals, and has spoken at various international conferences within India and abroad on issues relating to teacher education, peace education, curriculum, research methods, research supervision, etc. He is the Editorial Board Member of The Journal of Education, Scientific Academic Publishing (USA), and Chief Editor of International Journal of Education and Research (IJER). He is currently researching on peace education and teacher education. He has received senior fellowship from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). One of his books, Peace Club: A Handbook of Practicum, has been published from Lambert Academic Publishing (LAP), Germany.
