Known for her independent and no-nonsense demeanor, Morgan Lucille Baker was the foreman of her family's cutting horse farm in Georgia. Her entire life centered around making the business a success, until she met and married prominent Atlanta business man, Lee Baker. The marriage was anything but happy as Lee's extramarital affairs and controlling behavior alienated Morgan from her family. Fed up with the Atlanta High Society lifestyle and unable to return to her family's farm after having no contact with them for five years, Morgan divorces her husband and accepts a job as a ranch hand for a large horse and cattle operation outside of Abilene, Texas. Once there, she's strict about her "no romance, no complications" policy, but the ranch's foreman, Joe Reed has other ideas which include stopping at nothing to make the female hand, his. Morgan does her best to resist the attraction between herself and the foreman, however the two are thrown together when a mad man threatens the very lives of everyone at the ranch.

I'm a native of just about everywhere. My family has lived all over the United States. I settled in Georgia in 2001 and consider it to be home. I have a diverse list of interests ranging from geology (I collect rocks and minerals) to working on classic automobiles and painting. I love to fish, I collect antique books and I am also Pagan. Writing has always been a natural process for me and because of that, I spent twelve years in the newspaper industry, first as journalist, winning the 2003 GPA contest for Best Investigative Reporting and later editing and production. In October of 2011, I left the newspaper business to write full time and focus on my spiritual path. In my spare time, I perform weddings, which aside from writing is something I'm passionate about. I'm grateful for a life that allows me to spend time doing what I love and for the people who find my overactive imagination as interesting as I often do.
