The Texas Guide to Lawyer Disqualification provides a practical roadmap for lawyers and litigants in determining whether to file or oppose a motion to disqualify counsel and how to litigate disqualification motions. The volume also analyzes state and federal caselaw in Texas concerning such issues as the role of the Texas disciplinary rules in disqualification proceedings, possible grounds for disqualification, and various defensive issues. The volume includes a list and classification of Texas court decisions addressing disqualification, as well as relevant opinions issued by the Texas Professional Ethics Committee.
