Dr. Mrutyunjay Guttal, a retired Professor of Physiology from the Dept. of Medical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, completed his MBBS and MD from Karnataka Medical College (presently known as Karnataka Institute of Medical sciences), Hubli. Dr. Guttal has also served as a visiting professor and HOD in Andhra Pradesh (Santhiram Medical College, Nandyal), Kerala (Kannur Medical College, Kannur) and Chennai (Tagore Medical College, Rathinamangalam). He has taught both UG and PG courses and served as examiner (in South Indian universities), faculty advisor in physiology and medical administrator for more than three decades He has published research papers and has also given guest-lectures in professional bodies and AIR. Dr. Guttal is currently HOD and Professor, Department of Physiology, Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (Umarda), Udaipur, Rajasthan.
