Casey infuses life with imaginative mind-games and encounters with Other Worlds. Some of these companions become friends and allies, but others are opponents and nemeses. Chief among the nemeses are The Stucco Beings: tiny speck-like creatures who live in colonies on stucco walls and popcorn ceilings, invisible to seemingly everyone else but Casey.

When Kendall, a new kid at school, wins Casey's trust, the games and everyday adventures take on whole new dimensions, and Casey begins to ask new questions-and find new answers-about friendship, reality and life.

Trevathan, Zemo: - Zemo Trevathan is a father, ultimate frisbee player, campfire guitarist, and meditation labyrinth builder living with his wife Siobhan in the North Carolina mountains. As an Executive Coach and Team Effectiveness Consultant, he has travelled the globe helping organizations enhance leadership and collaboration skills. It was on these business trips that Zemo began writing about Casey and Kendall, one chapter per flight, creating a ritual of reading each new installment to his kids upon return home. Zemo also co-authored Daring to Have Real Conversations in Business with James Peal and The Chief Morale Officer Anthology with Carter Phipps.
