Aliens have mined earth's ocean resources for thousands of years. Now humans and their polluting technology threaten the purity of the plankton they need to survive. Earth is fast approaching a tipping point, one that will force the visitors to remove earth's native species in order to save the planet. The aliens agree to allow humans one last chance to change their ways, and they give this awesome responsibility to a single human, a young girl from a small town in Washington State. This girl, a recent high school graduate, has no ambition other that flipping burgers at a local fast food restaurant. Why would the aliens, with thousands of years of advanced technology, and a profound understanding of human nature, appoint this clueless girl to undertake the most important job in human history? Find out what makes Paige Young their only choice, and watch her as she takes on the powers of the world to bring changes that might save humanity from certain destruction.

Tim Ruggenberg is a Camano Island, WA author and artist who finally has time to write and paint now that he is retired. He also gardens and hugs his wife and grandchildren. Writing for him started as an itch that was put off for many years as he raised his family. Now, retired, he has published three novels and an autobiography. And grown lots of broccoli, carrots and berries. The subjects of his first three novels has been a fun exploration of the young female superhero, a genre he says has lots of potential. But, before another book, he has some paintings to do, and hugs to give.
