The jungle was meant to shine. It should smell like soft rain, warm soil, and wild flowers. In the morning, dew should sparkle on leaves like tiny pearls, and the river should sound clean and happy as it moves over rocks. The jungle felt like a safe home where every animal knew the paths and the water was trusted.
But slowly, something changed. The change did not come with a loud noise.

It crept quietly and hid in the mud and roots. Kito the ant noticed it first because ants are good at seeing small details. As he marched with other worker ants toward the river, he saw things that did not belong in nature: a silver ring pressed into the mud, a crumpled wrapper stuck in roots, and a shiny bottle that looked like a trap. These things did not break down like leaves or fruit skins. They stayed there, and they could hurt animals.

Luma the butterfly also noticed something was wrong. She loved flying above the trees, and her wings were bright and beautiful in the sunlight. One morning, she smelled something sharp and sour in the wind. That smell pulled her toward the river. When she landed above the water, she felt sad and worried. The river was not clean like before. Trash floated and stuck along the edges, and the water looked tired.

Kito and Luma met near the river and understood they could not ignore the problem. They decided to act. Kito used his ant colony to gather and sort small trash. Luma used the sky to scout and warn others. They invited birds, frogs, monkeys, deer, and even a porcupine to help. Together they created a cleanup plan, safe rules, and "Clean Points" where trash could be stored safely. They taught the young animals to spot danger and help in safe ways.
A massive storm later evaluated their work and scattered trash again, but they did not give up. They rebuilt a stronger system with raised platforms, wind fences, and understandable signs. Even when humans passed by the animals' good example helped a child understand: don't litter.

In the end, the jungle was healthier because everyone worked together. The story shows a simple truth: a clean home is not only a place-it is a choice made again and again by those who love it.
